The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating* program teaches the skills needed to diagnose, maintain and repair residential air conditioning and commercial air conditioning, heating and cooling equipment. Students learn refrigeration by working with freezers, refrigerators, and ice machines. Federal standards for ecological reclamation and recycling are taught. In the air conditioning and heating portion of the course, students learn current technologies related to central air conditioning and window units, heat pumps, gas and oil furnaces, and related piping. Alternative energy principles are taught through radiant heat.
As refrigerators become more advanced, the world has seen a growing need for refrigeration experts. This is because today's refrigerators are meant to provide multiple uses. From cooling food to storing it longer and even repelling insects, today's refrigerator can do much more than ever before. This means that up-to-date skills in refrigeration repair and maintenance are required.
Air conditioning is the process of removing heat and humidity from an inhabited space to improve the comfort of the occupants. In the construction industry, a complete heating, ventilation and air conditioning system is known as AC. The air conditioner and refrigerator work the same. Instead of just cooling a small isolated space inside the refrigerator, the air conditioner cools the room, the whole house or the entire hall. Air conditioners use chemicals that can easily be converted from gas to liquid and vice versa. This chemical is used to transfer heat from the air inside the house to the air outside. The machine has three main parts. They are the compressor, condenser and evaporator. The compressor and condenser are usually located in the outdoor air section of the air conditioner. The evaporator is located inside the house, sometimes as part of the furnace. This is the part that heats our home.
The basic HVAC course teaches students the basics of HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a required course for anyone entering HVAC or certification programs. Building HVAC services is a very important domain and AC technician course is in high demand all over the world.
The following must be applied in a manner appropriate to its purpose: Basic concepts of the HVAC system, Knowledge of AC components and their working functions, Understanding of the refrigeration cycle, Basic knowledge in electrical engineering. Based on a checklist of precautions, one should be able to install as well as supervise
Easy handling and maintenance of tools, Preparation of installation checklist and service reports, Preventive maintenance, Troubleshooting diagnostics and Behavior. Meanwhile, you need to have basic knowledge of unitary air conditioner installation as well as work estimation and time management.
In the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician program courses, you will gain a broad knowledge of the design, installation and service techniques of heating and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential environments. To be fully prepared for your career, you will gain the necessary know-how through hands-on activities, learning to maintain, size and select air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
The trainee will be trained to identify the customer's requirement through interaction with the customer, install and demonstrate the product to the customer's satisfaction, successfully repair the product to the customer's satisfaction and obtain their signatures on the work sheet and collect any payment, in accordance with company policies Follow standard operating procedures for different types of air conditioners, Demonstrate the soft skills necessary to perform the job effectively and Follow standard safety procedures to maintain a safe work area.
